Ingredients
  

For the Filling
  • 1 lb Ground beef Can substitute with turkey or lentils
  • 1 oz Taco seasoning Use your favorite blend
  • 3/4 cup Water
  • 1/2 cup Shredded Mexican cheese blend Can mix with cheddar or Monterey Jack
For Assembly
  • 4 pcs Flour tortillas 12-inch
  • 1/4 cup Nacho cheese sauce Warm
  • 4 pcs Tostada shells 5-inch
  • 1/2 cup Sour cream Greek yogurt can be a substitute
  • 3/4 cup Shredded lettuce Can substitute with spinach or arugula
  • 1 pc Roma tomato Diced
Optional Add-ins
  • 1 cup Guacamole Optional for extra creaminess
  • 1/4 cup Pickled jalapenos Optional for added spice
  • 1/2 cup Refried beans Optional for additional protein

Method
 

Steps
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook 1 lb. of ground beef until browned and cooked through.
  2. Stir in 1 oz. of taco seasoning and 3/4 cup of water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 5 minutes.
  3. Add 1/2 cup of shredded Mexican cheese blend, stir until melted, then remove from heat.
  4. Lay one large flour tortilla on a flat surface and add a generous layer of the beef mixture in the center.
  5. Spread a spoonful of nacho cheese sauce over the beef mixture and sprinkle extra shredded cheese on top.
  6. Place a tostada shell over the cheese and spread 2 tablespoons of sour cream on top.
  7. Sprinkle on 3/4 cup of shredded lettuce and add diced roma tomato.
  8. Fold the edges of the tortilla toward the center, forming a circular wrap.
  9. Heat a dry nonstick skillet or add oil, place the crunchwrap seam-side down in the skillet, and cook for about 2 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  10. Transfer your crunchwraps to a plate and serve hot with your favorite hot sauce.
