How to Make Honey Butter Cornbread Poppers
- In a large bowl, whisk together the cornmeal, flour, baking powder, and salt until well blended.
- In another bowl, combine milk, vegetable oil, and the egg. Stir until fully incorporated.
- Gradually pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring gently.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a mini muffin tin.
- Use a tablespoon to scoop the batter into each muffin cup, filling them about three-quarters full.
- Place the muffin tin in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes.
- While the poppers bake, melt the unsalted butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir in honey and cinnamon.
- Once the cornbread poppers are baked, remove them from the oven and brush the honey butter glaze over the hot poppers.
