  • 1 package Puff Pastry Store-bought for convenience
  • 1 large Egg For egg wash
  • 1 tbsp Water For egg wash
For the Chocolate Filling
  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips Or chopped chocolate bars
  • 2 tbsp Unsweetened Cocoa Powder To enhance chocolate flavor
For Optional Toppings
  • 1/2 cup Additional Melted Chocolate For drizzling
  • 1 tbsp Powdered Sugar For dusting

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the store-bought puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the chocolate chips and unsweetened cocoa powder.
  4. Slice the pastry into strips about 1 inch wide and place a spoonful of the chocolate mixture on each strip. Twist them into spirals.
  5. Brush each twist with the egg wash made from the egg and water.
  6. Arrange your twists on a prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool slightly, then drizzle with additional melted chocolate. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar.
