  • 500 grams Turkey Mince 7% fat for moisture
  • 2 teaspoons Fresh Thyme Leaves or half the amount of dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon Sea Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder or fresh garlic, minced
For the Pastry
  • 500 grams Ready Rolled Puff Pastry or gluten-free pastry
  • 200 grams Cranberry Sauce store-bought or homemade
  • 2 tablespoons Milk for brushing; plant milk for vegan option
For Preparation
  • 1 can Spray Oil

Method
 

How to Make
  1. Preheat your oven to 190°C (fan) or 210°C (non-fan).
  2. Mix the turkey mince with thyme, sea salt, black pepper, and garlic powder in a large bowl until well combined.
  3. Roll out the ready-rolled puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut it into rectangles, approximately 10x15 cm.
  4. Spoon a generous amount of the turkey mixture and a dollop of cranberry sauce into the center of each pastry rectangle.
  5. Wrap the pastry over the filling, sealing the edges firmly. Place each roll seam side down on a lined baking tray.
  6. Brush the tops with milk for a golden color and crisp finish.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
  8. Cool slightly before serving to allow flavors to settle.
