- Finely grate the cheddar cheese and cube the cold butter.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine cheddar cheese, sourdough discard, and cold butter. Mix until crumbly.
- Gradually incorporate flour, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Mix until just combined.
- Lightly flour the working surface and roll out the dough to ⅛-inch thickness.
- Cut out desired cracker shapes and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Sprinkle flaky salt over the cut crackers.
