How to Make a Quick and Delicious Chicken and Mushroom Stir-Fry
- Prepare Sauce: In a bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch. Whisk until smooth.
- Cook Chicken: Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add sliced chicken and stir-fry for 5-6 minutes until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- Sauté Aromatics: In the same skillet, add another teaspoon of vegetable oil. Sauté finely chopped onions and minced garlic for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add Vegetables: Toss in sliced mushrooms and bell peppers, stir-frying for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Combine & Simmer: Return the chicken to the skillet, pour the sauce over the mixture, and toss to coat. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
