- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a loaf pan or line a baking sheet with foil.
- Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, then transfer to a plate lined with paper towels.
- Using the bacon fat, sauté your mushrooms until they’re browned and tender.
- Combine ingredients in a large bowl: ground beef, eggs, breadcrumbs, diced onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and make a well to insert Swiss cheese cubes, topping with crispy bacon and sautéed mushrooms.
- Bake for 45–55 minutes, checking that the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
- Let rest for about 10 minutes before slicing; optionally drizzle with pan juices and garnish with fresh parsley.
