How to Make Mini Grilled Cheese Hawaiian Rolls
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). This ensures your rolls cook evenly and the cheese melts to perfection.
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally without separating them. Keep them together like a book for easy filling and slicing later!
- Spread softened butter on the cut sides and sprinkle with garlic powder if desired.
- Layer shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses on the bottom half of the rolls.
- Place the top half of the rolls back on to form a sandwich.
- Wrap the whole sandwich tightly in aluminum foil.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese melts.
- Unwrap and bake for an additional 5 minutes to crisp the exterior.
- Let cool slightly, slice, and serve while warm.
