How to Make Mochi-Stuffed Jujubes
  1. In a small saucepan, combine water with dried osmanthus flowers and simmer gently.
  2. Soak the jujubes in warm water for about 5 minutes.
  3. In a bowl, mix the mochi flour with warm water until smooth and sticky, then steam for 5 minutes.
  4. Take small pieces of mochi dough, flatten them, and encase each softened jujube.
  5. Place the stuffed jujubes into the prepared syrup and poach for 5-7 minutes.
  6. Allow the jujubes to cool slightly before serving.
