How to Make McGriddle Bites
- Preheat your oven to 400ºF (204ºC) and grease a mini muffin tin to prevent sticking.
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, sauté the breakfast sausage until it's browned and crumbled (about 5-7 minutes). Drain any excess grease.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the pancake mix, water, and maple syrup. Stir gently until just combined.
- Carefully fold in the cooked sausage and shredded cheddar cheese.
- Fill each muffin cup about three-quarters full with the batter.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and check doneness with a toothpick.
- Let the muffins cool slightly in the tin before removing. Enjoy warm with an extra drizzle of maple syrup if desired!
