How to Make Mushroom Swiss Burger Casserole
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the ground beef. Cook for 5-7 minutes until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Add finely diced onions and sliced mushrooms to the skillet. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until tender and fragrant.
  4. Stir in minced garlic, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, beef broth, and heavy cream. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat, mix in ½ cup of Swiss cheese, dried thyme, and paprika. Transfer to a greased baking dish.
  6. Top with frozen tater tots and sprinkle remaining Swiss cheese on top.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes until tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
