Method

How to Make One-Pan Creamy Ranch Pork Chops
  1. Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels, then season them generously with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and onion powder.
  2. Toss the halved baby potatoes in olive oil, ensuring they are well-coated, and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat, then sear the pork chops until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes per side.
  4. Lower the heat and add minced garlic to the skillet, stirring until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and buttermilk, whisking to combine, then let simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Gently add the seared pork chops back into the skillet, arranging the potatoes around them. Drizzle the creamy ranch sauce over everything.
  6. Transfer the skillet to a preheated oven set at 400°F and bake for about 25 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 145°F.
  7. Once done, let the dish rest for a few minutes before serving. Optionally, add a splash of lemon juice to the sauce just before plating.
