  • 1 cup Brown sugar Dark brown sugar recommended for deeper flavor.
  • 0.5 cup Pineapple juice Fresh juice preferred for better flavor.
  • 1 cup Pineapple chunks Fresh pineapple is best for vibrant taste.
  • 0.25 cup Soy sauce Low-sodium option available.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder Fresh garlic can be substituted carefully.
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon Cayenne pepper Optional, adjust to taste.
For Serving

How to Make
  1. In a medium bowl, combine brown sugar, pineapple juice, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and cayenne. Mix until smooth and all ingredients are well blended.
  2. Place the Lil' Smokies sausages into the slow cooker. Make sure they are evenly distributed in the pot.
  3. Gently add the pineapple chunks into the slow cooker, folding them in to ensure they are evenly mixed with the sausages and glaze.
  4. Cover the slow cooker and set it to cook on Low for 4 hours or High for 2 hours. Stir occasionally, until the glaze thickens and the sausages caramelize.
  5. Once cooked, serve the bites warm using toothpicks for easy snacking.
