  • 8 oz Pancit Bihon (Rice Noodles) Soak in warm water before cooking.

  • 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil Essential for sautéing.
  • 3 cloves Garlic Freshly minced.
  • 1 medium Onion Thinly sliced.
  • 1 lb Chicken Breast Replace with shrimp, pork, or tofu if preferred.
  • 1 medium Carrot Julienned.
  • 2 cups Cabbage Shredded.
  • 1 cup Green Beans Sliced.
For the Flavors
  • 4 tbsp Soy Sauce Consider low-sodium.
  • 2 tbsp Oyster Sauce Optional, substitute with soy sauce and sugar if needed.
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Oil Optional, for extra flavor.
For Serving
  • 2 pcs Lemon Wedges For brightness.

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Soak the Pancit Bihon in warm water for about 10 minutes. Drain well.
  2. In a large pan, warm vegetable oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sliced onion, sauté until fragrant.
  3. Introduce sliced chicken breast to the pan and cook for 5-7 minutes until no longer pink.
  4. Stir in julienned carrots, shredded cabbage, and sliced green beans. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  5. Pour in soy sauce, oyster sauce, black pepper, and chicken broth. Simmer to develop flavors.
  6. Gently add drained noodles to the pan and toss to incorporate, cooking for 3-5 minutes until tender.
  7. Optional: Drizzle sesame oil before serving for flavor.
  8. Serve hot with lemon wedges on the side.
