  • 2 stalks Green Onion Chopped

  • 1 tbsp Toasted Sesame Oil Can substitute with olive oil
For the Topping
  • 1 tbsp Toasted Sesame Seeds Can toast raw seeds if necessary

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Trim the stems of fresh spinach and slice the leaves into 2-inch pieces.
  2. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and add the spinach. Blanch for about 30 seconds.
  3. Quickly drain and plunge the spinach into an ice bath.
  4. Once cooled, gently squeeze out any excess water.
  5. In a mixing bowl, combine the spinach, minced garlic, chopped green onion, soy sauce, salt, toasted sesame oil, and toasted sesame seeds.
  6. Toss everything together until well combined.
  7. Serve immediately or chill in the refrigerator.
