  • 1 lb Sausage can substitute with chicken, turkey, or plant-based sausage
  • 2 medium Sweet Potatoes peeled and cubed
  • 2 tbsp Honey can substitute with maple syrup for vegan option
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced; fresh is best
For the Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce or tamari for gluten-free option
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil can substitute with vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp Paprika smoked paprika for extra flavor
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
For Garnishing
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Parsley chopped

Method
 

Directions
  1. Prepare ingredients by peeling and cubing the sweet potatoes into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and cook the sausage for 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add the cubed sweet potatoes to the skillet and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, minced garlic, soy sauce (or tamari), paprika, salt, and pepper, then pour it over the skillet.
  5. Cover and let everything simmer for about 10 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat, garnish with parsley, and serve hot.
