  • 1 cup Heavy cream Substitute with coconut or oat-based cream for dairy-free
For Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley Chopped finely

Method
 

Instructions
  1. In a small bowl, combine saffron threads with white wine and let them steep for 5 minutes.
  2. Pat the fresh shrimp dry with paper towels, then season them generously with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the shrimp, cooking for 1-2 minutes per side until they are opaque.
  4. Reduce heat to medium, add shallots and garlic to the skillet, and sauté until fragrant—about 1 minute.
  5. Pour in the saffron-infused wine along with the heavy cream, stirring continuously until thickened (about 5-6 minutes).
  6. Return the seared shrimp to the skillet, tossing gently to coat in the sauce while heating through.
  7. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve immediately.
