  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder Deepens taste
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt Essential for seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper Provides a gentle zing
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper Introduces heat
For Frying
  • 2 cups Vegetable Oil For frying
For the Hot Honey Finish
  • 1/3 cup Hot Honey For drizzling
  • 2 tablespoons Parsley, chopped For garnish

Method
 

Marinate and Prepare
  1. Soak the shrimp in buttermilk for 15 minutes at room temperature.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, kosher salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
Fry the Shrimp
  1. Dredge each shrimp in the seasoned flour and lay on a baking sheet.
  2. Heat 2 inches of vegetable oil in a deep pot to 350°F.
  3. Fry the shrimp in batches for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Drain the fried shrimp on a lined baking sheet.
  5. Drizzle generously with hot honey and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
