How to Make Hobo Casserole
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Sauté the chopped onion in the same skillet with the ground beef for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  4. Combine diced tomatoes (with their juice) and drained green beans into the skillet.
  5. Layer in the diced potatoes, seasoning with salt and pepper. Mix well.
  6. Transfer the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
  7. Top your casserole with shredded cheddar cheese.
  8. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
