Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray.
- Cook the ground breakfast sausage in a large skillet over medium heat until nearly fully cooked.
- Add the precooked bacon to the skillet and cook until crispy.
- Transfer the sausage and bacon to a paper towel-lined plate to drain.
- Combine pancake mix and water in a mixing bowl, stirring until just combined.
- Mix in the cooked bacon and sausage, shredded cheddar cheese, and syrup into the pancake mix.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
- Bake on the middle rack for about 30 minutes.
- Spread softened butter on top after baking and serve warm with extra syrup.
