Cooking Instructions
  1. Heat oil: Start by adding a splash of oil to a large pan over medium heat. Let it warm up for about 1 minute, then add the ground beef. Break apart the beef and let it brown slightly, about 4-5 minutes.
  2. Add aromatics: Stir in the grated ginger and soy sauce, cooking for an additional 10-15 seconds.
  3. Simmer: Pour in 1 cup of water and sprinkle in white pepper. Cover the pan and let it simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Cook noodles: While the beef simmers, prepare the vermicelli according to package instructions until they’re al dente. Drain.
  5. Thicken sauce: In a small bowl, mix the corn flour with 1/2 cup of water. Stir this into the beef mixture to thicken.
  6. Combine: Toss the cooked vermicelli into the beef sauce, mixing thoroughly. Serve hot, garnished with fresh spring onions.
