Cooking Instructions
  1. Marinate Beef: In a bowl, combine beef, baking soda, light soy sauce, peanut oil, and cornstarch. Mix until well coated and let it marinate for about 15 minutes.
  2. Prepare Sauce: In a separate bowl, whisk together chicken broth, oyster sauce, dark soy sauce, sugar, remaining cornstarch, and sesame oil.
  3. Cook Beef: Heat 1 tablespoon of peanut oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and cook for 1 minute before flipping.
  4. Sauté Aromatics: In the same skillet, add the remaining oil, onion, garlic, and ginger. Sauté for 2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Add Vegetables: Toss in the asparagus and stir-fry for about 1 minute until slightly tender.
  6. Thicken Sauce: Stir the sauce mixture quickly before adding it to the pan. Cook while stirring until the sauce thickens.
  7. Combine Beef and Sauce: Return the cooked beef to the skillet. Stir to coat the beef in the sauce and serve hot.
