  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar Coconut sugar is a good substitute.
  • 2 tablespoons Rice Vinegar Apple cider vinegar can be used as an alternative.
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced, fresh is best.
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Ginger Grated, ground ginger can be used as an alternative.
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil Vegetable oil can be substituted.
  • 1/4 cup Water Adjust for consistency.
For Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons Green Onions Chives can be used as a replacement.
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds Optional.

Cooking Instructions
  1. Cut the pork belly into bite-sized pieces and pat them dry.
  2. Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the pork until golden and crisp, about 10-12 minutes.
  3. Drain excess fat from the skillet and set the pork aside.
  4. Whisk together honey, soy sauces, brown sugar, vinegar, minced garlic, grated ginger, and water in a bowl.
  5. Pour the glaze over the seared pork and reduce the heat to medium-low. Simmer for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
