- Clean the calamari, removing heads, tentacles, and innards, then slice the bodies into rings. Pat them dry with a paper towel to ensure they cook evenly.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter until bubbly, making sure not to let it brown. This should take about 1-2 minutes.
- Add minced garlic to the melted butter, stirring frequently until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Gently toss the calamari rings into the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn opaque and tender.
- Remove from heat, drizzle with lemon juice, and season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Toss gently.
