How to Make Stuffed Mushroom Dip
- Heat olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add sliced mushrooms, allowing them to sauté for 8-10 minutes until they’re browned and tender. Stir in minced garlic and let it cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Reduce the heat to low, then add softened cream cheese and sour cream. Stir the mixture until fully melted and combined, creating a smooth and creamy base.
- Add half of the shredded mozzarella and all of the grated Parmesan cheese into the skillet. Stir until the mixture is creamy and smooth.
- Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella on top of the dip mixture. Transfer the skillet to a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C). Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown on top.
- Garnish your dip with fresh thyme or parsley for a pop of color. Serve it hot with your favorite toasted bread, crunchy crackers, or crisp veggie sticks.
