How to Make Shrimp and Mussels in Creamy Garlic Sauce
- Clean the mussels by rinsing them under running water and discarding any that don’t close when tapped.
- If shrimp isn’t prepped, peel and devein it.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
- Pour in the white wine and let it simmer for a few minutes.
- Add cleaned mussels and cover the skillet to steam for about 5 minutes.
- Fold in shrimp and cook until they turn pink, about 3-4 minutes.
- Lower the heat, stir in the heavy cream, and let it simmer.
- Finish with lemon juice, zest, and parsley. Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve immediately, optionally with crusty bread.

Notes
