How to Make Sizzling Bourbon BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger Meatballs
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) for optimal cooking results.
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, diced onion, minced garlic, BBQ sauce, bourbon, egg, salt, and pepper. Stir gently until just combined.
- Gently fold in the crumbled bacon and shredded cheddar cheese.
- Using slightly wet hands, grab portions of the mixture and form them into 1.5-inch meatballs.
- Arrange the meatballs on a lined baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
- In the last few minutes of baking, brush the meatballs with additional BBQ sauce.
- Once baked, let the meatballs rest for a few minutes before garnishing with parsley and serving.
