How to Make Sizzling Bourbon BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger Meatballs
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) for optimal cooking results.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, diced onion, minced garlic, BBQ sauce, bourbon, egg, salt, and pepper. Stir gently until just combined.
  3. Gently fold in the crumbled bacon and shredded cheddar cheese.
  4. Using slightly wet hands, grab portions of the mixture and form them into 1.5-inch meatballs.
  5. Arrange the meatballs on a lined baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
  6. In the last few minutes of baking, brush the meatballs with additional BBQ sauce.
  7. Once baked, let the meatballs rest for a few minutes before garnishing with parsley and serving.
