  • 300 g Steak (Sirloin or Ribeye) substitute with sautéed chicken breast or mushrooms

  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil essential for searing
  • 1 medium Onion substitute with shallots for milder taste
  • 2 cloves Garlic reduce for a milder flavor
  • 1 tbsp Smoked Paprika increase for extra heat
  • to taste Salt & Black Pepper
  • 240 ml Heavy Cream substitute with whole milk for lighter version
  • 120 ml Beef Broth chicken broth can be used
  • 50 g Grated Parmesan Cheese key ingredient for richness
For the Garnish
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Parsley for garnish

Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. Boil the pasta shells in a pot of salted boiling water for about 8-10 minutes or until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season the steak strips by patting them dry, then coating with salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, and sear the steak for 3-4 minutes until browned. Transfer to a plate.
  3. Sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic in the same skillet for about 3 minutes until golden and aromatic.
  4. Pour in the beef broth and heavy cream; gently bring to a simmer, scraping caramelized bits from the skillet.
  5. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese gradually, allowing it to melt and thicken the sauce.
  6. Combine the seared steak back into the skillet, coating it well with the creamy sauce.
  7. Add the cooked pasta shells, gently folding until everything is combined and heated through.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
