  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal substitute with gluten-free rice cereal if needed
  • 1/4 cup Salted butter can swap for vegan butter
  • 10 ounces Mini marshmallows up to 16 ounces for thicker treats
For the Color
  • 12-15 drops Neon green food coloring adjust for desired shade
For the Decorations
  • 1 tube Black cookie icing or melted dark chocolate
  • 10 pieces Large candy eyeballs smaller candy eyeballs can be used
  • 1 cup Black candy melts or dark chocolate
  • 2 pieces Tootsie Rolls or pretzel rods for bolts

Method
 

Making the Treats
  1. Grease a 13x9 baking dish with nonstick spray or butter.
  2. Melt the salted butter in a microwave-safe bowl for about 30 seconds, then add the mini marshmallows and heat in 30-second increments until melted and smooth, about 1-1.5 minutes.
  3. Add the neon green food coloring to the melted mixture, stirring until achieving desired shade.
  4. Mix in the Rice Krispies until thoroughly coated, then press evenly into the greased baking dish.
  5. Refrigerate for about 30 minutes to firm up, then cut into 10 fun shapes.
  6. Decorate with black icing for hair, attach candy eyeballs with melted black candy melts, and add Tootsie Roll bolts.
  7. Chill for an additional 15 minutes to set the decorations.
