  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs gluten-free optional
  • 1 large Egg binding agent
  • 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper fresh ground preferred
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder adjust as preferred
For the Sauce
  • 2 cups Cranberry Sauce whole berry or jellied
Optional Serving Ingredients
  • 4 cups Cooked Rice to soak up sauce
  • 4 cups Mashed Potatoes for a heartier dish
  • 4 cups Egg Noodles serving option

Preparation
  1. Prepare Meatballs: In a mixing bowl, combine the ground meat, breadcrumbs, egg, and spices. Mix until just combined and then shape the mixture into meatballs, aiming for about 24-30 pieces.
  2. Bake: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the meatballs on a lined baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
  3. Simmer: In a skillet, pour in the cranberry sauce and heat it over low. Once the meatballs are baked, add them to the skillet and gently stir to combine. Let everything simmer together for 10 more minutes.
  4. Serve: These meatballs are delightful served over rice, mashed potatoes, or egg noodles.
