How to Make Sweet Chili Pineapple Shrimp
  1. In a bowl, combine the shrimp with sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Cover and refrigerate for 15-30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld beautifully.
  2. While the shrimp marinates, cut fresh pineapple into bite-sized chunks. If using canned, ensure it’s well-drained to prevent excess moisture.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.
  4. Gently add the pineapple chunks to the skillet, stirring carefully. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the pineapple is warmed through and slightly caramelized.
  5. Plate your tropical creation and consider garnishing with a splash of lime juice, fresh cilantro, or a sprinkle of red pepper flakes for that extra flair.
