  • cups Granulated Sugar for caramelization
  • 3 Large Eggs beaten well
  • ¼ cup Heavy Cream can substitute with half-and-half
  • 3 tablespoons Whiskey bourbon or flavored liqueurs as alternatives
  • 2 tablespoons Honey or use maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons White Vinegar or lemon juice as a substitute
  • 1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
  • Flaky Sea Salt for topping

How to Make Sweet & Salty Salted Whiskey Honey Pie
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the pie crust by trimming the edges and crimping them. Chill in the fridge.
  3. Melt the butter over medium heat until light brown. Let it cool slightly.
  4. Mix cornmeal, salt, and sugar in a bowl.
  5. Combine the cooled browned butter with the dry mixture and stir until blended.
  6. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing vigorously after each addition.
  7. Stir in the heavy cream, whiskey, honey, vinegar, and vanilla extract until well mixed.
  8. Pour the filling into the chilled pie crust, smoothing the surface.
  9. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  10. Cool the pie completely before serving. Top with flaky sea salt before serving.
