  • 1 packet Taco Seasoning Mix adjust to taste
  • 1/2 cup Water or beef broth for more flavor
  • 1 cup Salsa con Queso or mild nacho cheese
For the Layers
  • 6 pieces Flour Tortillas or corn tortillas for a twist
  • 2 cups Shredded Mexican Cheese Blend or cheddar for a sharper taste
For Serving
  • 1 cup Sour Cream or Greek yogurt for a healthier option

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, add ground beef, and cook until browned for about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in taco seasoning and water, let it simmer for about 2-3 minutes, then mix in salsa con queso.
  4. Lightly spray an 8-inch baking dish with cooking spray, layer with one tortilla, followed by 1/3 of the beef mixture and 1/3 of the shredded cheese. Repeat for 2 more layers.
  5. Bake for about 20 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
