  • 1 can Refried Beans or black/pinto beans for variety
  • 1 packet Taco Seasoning homemade or store-bought
  • 1 cup Taco Sauce store-bought or homemade
For the Guacamole Layer
  • 2 medium Avocados mashed with lime juice, salt, and garlic powder
For the Toppings
  • 1 cup Black Olives sliced
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar or Monterey Jack/vegan cheese
  • 1 cup Chopped Tomato or cherry tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Green Onion or chives
For the Creamy Finish
  • 1 cup Sour Cream or Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup Milk or milk alternative
Optional Extras
  • 1 piece Plastic Squirt Bottle for spider web design
  • 1 piece Plastic Spider Ring for decoration
  • 1 bag Tortilla Chips warm or baked

Method
 

How to Make Spider Web Taco Dip
  1. In a bowl, mix together the refried beans, taco seasoning, and taco sauce until well blended and warm.
  2. Smoothly spread the warmed bean mixture evenly in the bottom of a glass pie plate.
  3. Mash the avocado and mix it with lime juice, salt, and garlic powder. Spread this over the layer of beans.
  4. Combine sour cream with enough milk to achieve a thin consistency.
  5. Transfer the thinned sour cream to a squirt bottle and carefully pipe a spider web design over the guacamole.
  6. Sprinkle the black olives, cheddar cheese, chopped tomatoes, and green onion around the edges.
  7. Place a plastic spider in the center for decoration.
  8. Serve with warm tortilla chips on the side for dipping.
