How to Make Sloppy Joes
- Melt butter in a large pot over high heat.
- Sauté garlic and onion for about 2 minutes until the onion is almost translucent.
- Add diced capsicum and cook for 2 minutes until softened.
- Brown the ground beef, breaking it up as you go, until it changes from red to a lovely brown color.
- Mix in the remaining ingredients, ensuring everything is well-combined.
- Cover and cook for 30 minutes, stirring once or twice to prevent sticking.
- Stir the mixture for a minute after removing the lid.
- Toast your rolls. Butter them if desired for an extra layer of deliciousness.
- Pile on lots of filling, immediately topping the sandwiches with cheese.
