- Boil water in a large pot and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain well and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium heat, pour in olive oil. Once hot, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Gently break sardines into small pieces and add them to the pan with a splash of lemon juice. Stir and heat for 2-3 minutes.
- Toss the drained pasta into the skillet and mix well to coat. Stir in fresh herbs.
- Serve immediately on plates.
